The Department is headed by Dr.Vidya Sarode. The present faculty strength of the Department is 12 which include one Associate Professors and eleven Assistant Professors. These include one Doctorate and eleven Post Graduates. Three faculty members is pursuing Doctorate degree. All Laboratory Assistants are skilled and qualified.
The Faculties of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department are always interested not only in updating the curriculum, but also in enhancing the laboratory facilities to cope up with the new developments in the areas of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The Electronics and Telecommunication laboratories are constantly upgraded with new equipments. More design oriented experiments are being offered in laboratory classes. Lab manuals have been prepared for all the laboratories. Based on the technological innovation new facilities are being added every year for providing training to the students to make them suitable for the future needs.
To keep abreast of the latest developments, the department organizes technical programmes and sponsors faculty for courses in their areas of interest and qualification improvement.Students with good MHT-CET/AIEEE/JEE scores get admitted to the department. The students maintain a good academic record and regularly organize and participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, both within the college and at intercollegiate level. Most of them get placed in reputed companies or pursue higher studies.The details of various labs are enumerated below.
This laboratory helps the students to develop their knowledge on processor architecture and the programming skills. This laboratory have the hardware which includes 8085 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8086 Microprocessor trainer kits, 8051 Microcontroller trainer kits, ARM Controllers trainer kits, Arduino Kits and Raspberry Pi kits with interfacing cards and software's. This laboratory provides facilities for hands-on practice on interfacing of I/O devices, A/D and D/A conversions, stepper motor, traffic light control system etc. The features and facilities available in this laboratory help the students to do their projects and enhance their knowledge on the latest trends and technologies. Students from other programmes also make use of this laboratory.

Lab has all equipments and components which helps students to learn basic analog electronics.This laboratoryis an introductory laboratory that introduces the students about basic components such as resistors, inductors, transistors used in analog electronic circuits. This lab is intended for the beginners to educate them about the characteristics, applications of electronic devices, such as Diode, BJT, FET for practicing their theoretical knowledge by designing.
The lab includes all equipments such as Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters and Power Supplies so that the students can perform experiments and test their projects.

Communication lab encourages students to become familiar with various analog and digital modulation and demodulationtechniques. The students are trained tounderstand different characteristics of optical sourcesand detectorsand measure different optical fiber parameters using single mode and multimode optical fibers, able to establish wireless communication link between satellite transmitting and receiving Earth Station.
